My love of photography started in Nairobi, Kenya where I spent several of my childhood years. I wanted to show the world everything I saw. From the starving boy my own age across the street, to the brilliance of beads adorning a maasai woman’s neck.
I graduated May 2010 with a degree in photojournalism from the University of North Texas followed by two years as a staff photographer at the Texarkana Gazette in Texarkana, Texas. In March 2012 I moved back to Kenya to work with Action Africa Help International documenting their projects in the field and developing promotional material.
I am now a full-time freelance photographer based in East Africa.
My goal in life is still simple — to speak truth through my work and inspire others to care.
